The Safeland Sound Therapy Group Experience

Many of us spend our lives living in oscillating states of mild anxiety through to chronic stress, fear and depression or have experienced some kind of small or large trauma in our lives. The average person has no understanding of how their brain/body systems communicate and function. This can leave us with a powerful operating system that isn’t working efficiently or worse is out of control. Thus we feel out of control, scared and helpless to change. Cognitive bias then means a person may literally not even be able to see or hear the good things and safe cues from others.

The Safeland Sound Therapy is a sound frequency technology tool to enhance therapy for those with trauma, anxiety, digestion issues, sleep problems, Autism, other social communication issues and so much more.  The music begins to trigger physiological states of safety and trust. Calming the physiological state helps to promote social engagement and self-regulation.

In this small group I will also then teach you practical ways to continually engage and
reinforce the Social Engagement System practically. Through group discussion and teaching about the Polyvagal system we will aim to create the biggest healing we can in this short time together.

The SST has demonstrated benefits for individuals with trauma, anxiety, sensory processing differences, and much more.
