Clinical hypnosis, regression, life coaching and mindfulness
According to the Collins English dictionary hypnosis is: “An artificially induced trance state resembling sleep. It is characterised by heightened susceptibility to suggestion”
Firstly, it is important to understand that hypnosis and indeed clinical hypnotherapy are completely safe. Secondly, in my experience, it can greatly help the client overcome their problems far quicker than any other ‘talking’ therapy alone. Thirdly, a solution focused mix of techniques, used accurately, produces the most effective results.
I have formulated, over time, a very successful and efficient 3 part package of techniques. This uses a mix of life coaching, meditative tools and clinical hypnotherapy. I have used these successfully for a range of fears and anxiety. These are excellent for things like driving tests, exams, interviews and public speaking.
Please note, that I offer sessions face to face (in Bromley, Kent) or over Skype. There are a range of packages and concessions to make my therapies affordable to all.
The British Medical Association has accepted clinical hypnotherapy as a ‘serious and useful’ treatment for over 50 years.
In 1955, the BMA commissioned two comprehensive reports on hypnosis. After 2 years of study and research, its final report was published in the British Medical Journal (BMJ).
Hypnosis was approved as official BMA policy. It’s statement reads:
“For the past hundred years there has been an abundance of evidence that psychological and physiological changes could be produced by hypnotism. These were were worth study on their own account, and also that such changes might be of great service in the treatment of patients.” (British Medical Journal, cited)
Have no fear
The hypnotic state is described as a state of total mental and physical relaxation. However, this relaxation is experienced with heightened awareness. Consequently you can feel safe in the knowledge that you will have some level of control.
Suggestion
Clinical hypnotherapy via hypnosis aims to access the subconscious mind when the body is in a state of complete relaxation. In that hyper aware state I can then deliver powerful positive suggestions. These suggestions will help you to overcome fears and phobias. Alternatively, they may implant new behaviours. However, I cannot ‘plant’ anything into your mind that would not agree with your morals and values etc.

Blending
I find that the use of a combination of life coaching techniques and clinical hypnotherapy delivers consistent results. These techniques include Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Coaching addresses the external solutions. Hypnotherapy then embeds any new programming required. It is this combination that really delivers permanent change and healing.
You will receive free downloads such as confidence building or breath work for anxiety etc if required. I am based in Bromley, Kent.
Be aware that clinical hypnotherapy is not the same as stage hypnosis.

Hypnosis is a natural state
Hypnosis is a naturally occurring state. Interestingly, we have all experienced the trance state just as we awaken or are about to fall asleep. These are called the hypnopompic and hypnagogic states. Therefore, trance is considered to be a very safe state.
As an example of trance state, you may remember day dreaming at school. Alternatively, you may have experienced a trance like state driving for miles on a motorway. On the other hand you may have been mesmerised just by staring out of the window of a moving train!
In each of these examples you are obviously still awake. However, the conscious mind is not ‘present’ for a short period. You will notice though that you remain safe at all times!
I offer heavily discounted intensive or a one day sessions. These intensives can include any of the services I offer:
